Step 1: Wheel Welding
If your rim has any sort of cracks from curb rash or other wheel damage, we will need to start with wheel welding. Our professional technicians will assess the crack(s) to determine if they are in an area where we can weld and in a direction that is capable of welding. When the damage is too extensive for our wheel repair services, we can help you get a replacement wheel and/or rim with a discount!
Step 2: The CNC Lathe Machine
By using a CNC Lathe Machine, which is a production turning machine, we can perform the rim repair safely without diminishing the strength of the materials in your rim. This amazing machine helps us smooth out the areas that were needed to be welded and repair the surface of the rim.
Step 3: The Powder Coating
After the repairs have been completed, we’ll use our special powder coating to match the color of your remanufactured rim to your other rims on your vehicle. This coating must be baked at 400 degrees in the oven to keep it as strong as possible.
Step 4: Wheel Polishing
Once the powder coating is fully set and cooled, we will place your wheel through our final step of polishing. We utilize a vibration technique to give your rim the best polish and shine!
